Default MCP / FX parameter context menu

We can add parameter control knobs to an MCP using this menu:

but, boy, is it painful

-- no scroll bar,
-- no mouse-wheel scrolling,
-- can only browse using the arrow keys at top / bottom,
-- and it only moves slowly,
-- menu closes after one parameter is selected.

Why not just display a subset of the Track Envelope window?
-- list the FX and their parameters in a grid,
-- with a check-box for each parameter,
-- and the Expand /Collapse check-box and the Filter, for each FX,
-- with horizontal scrolling,
-- and keep the window open until explicitly closed.

Checking, just in case, you do know this way also right ?

edit:
Ok, also with this, controls can only be added one by one, so agreed, checkboxes would speed up.

Yes, I did, but
(a) that is more clicks to add each control,
(b) I wanted to add several from various FX,
(c) my suggestion makes Reaper look more consistent (less dependence on the OS) .

nice, definitely!

"Show last touched parameter" is no adequate substitute for a better context menu. I think we need some reworking there.

There should be context menus for all similar plugin parameters, of course, there sould be an option to just see all active envelopes in the context menu. We need to see all used automations at a look.

Besides there should be a "lock" function for each "arm envelope" checkbox (check via double click for example). I'd like to have that function optional as a standard.
