Gaz again! Another top notch tune. I like this incarnation of the Gaz machine. Excellent vocal, really solid bass line, great melody, cool riffy synth work. Whats not to love? Did I say nice mix? Radio worthy.
The lyrics had me laughing but hit pretty close to home too.
Gaz. Howdya get Pete Townshend to dance on yer vid?
Is this Irish music?
You put the most thought into brainless music that I have ever seen or heard.
How can something so riffyhooky be so profound? It's joyful mystery.

Thank you!I really feel like I'm getting my head around this game now.
With each tune my ears are getting better trained and I can just hear a song more easily in my head.I still have a long way to go.The stuff I hear in my head now,I'm not yet capable of recreating. So I have to push on.

This certainly is Irish music, but probably won't be recognised as such for a few years yet.
The locals just have to wake up to the fucking legend living amongst them!

Gaz, these are some of my favourite vocal melodies from you... ever. This is up there with Copvan for me in terms of how infectious the vocals are.
The intro kills.
I understand the want to feature the synths because they are full of style, but the rhythm section gets just a touch lost behind them as a result. They could be just as effective if they sat back in the mix a little, or dropped out in a few more places. I don't want them competing with these vocals.
Favourite part of the song is when it's just you and the guitar.

Nice one Fishy man!
Comments DULY NOTED!
I will reappraise the format accordingly.Thats the kinda constructive critique I can use.Y'know,I initially had the arpeggiator hard panned to the left and backed off from the front but I just got so into its squiggly goodness that it ended up only 25% left and dry as fuck.I reckon you are right about this and my initial instinct was the way to go.
I'll put it back on the new lp.
That arp and the intro was made using our very own midi arpbangzero.Available in the stash.
How I love that MONSTER of a plugin.100% pure REAPER.

I enjoy the songs anyway you choose to mix them, if i were to analyse for a moment i pretty much agree with KindaFishys' opinions, your vocal and guitar always main, and synth is cool added bonus.

It makes sense. They're my specialty subjects after all.
Accentuate the positive!

1) I agree with HugoRibeiroDotCom, it's pretty weird - but it works.
2) F**k I miss Ireland. I went to Ireland in August of last year. My first trip, before that I had never left Canada...
Left a HUGE chunk of my heart in Dublin. Given the ability to visit again, I'd be on a plane in a heartbeat.
Have a pint for me next time you find yourself in a pub. Sláinte!
Man I can't say much of anything to this. I've gotten lots of amusement with your songs/videos but this one floored me. A slightly questionable intro (at least that was my first impression but in retrospect it all fits) but when it kicks in it's great. Love it.
