Default Enable multiple midi outputs for tracks

As it says :

Enable the possibility to chose between one, many (more than one) and all midi outputs for one track.

An output is the combination of a midi port with a channel, or a port with all channels.
This is important for layering or multitimbral synths..

This already exists: you can set up as many MIDI hardware outputs and/or MIDI sends as you want in the track routing window, which also allows you to configure the MIDI channel(s) to be used.

You can set up only one MIDI hardware output (unlike audio outputs which you can have as many as you wish). At least here, v 4.76.

Oh, right, I stand corrected.

You can get more hardware outputs by routing MIDI through another track first, though.

.. And that is what I call "ne Frikadelle an die Backe nageln"

Enhanced routing with one content and two port channels is seriously complicated and due to the "recording enable" logic not intuitive.
