Default Studiomux in Reaper; unuseably latent

Anyone using Studiomux in Reaper? I've been using it in another DAW where I can use it to play and record iPad instruments live, but when I try it in Reaper, no matter what I do there is a ton of latency.

I noticed that Reaper puts PDC on the plugin and I seem to recall there was a setting you could change to make it process in real time, but I can't seem to find anything about it now.

Anyone have any ideas?

Ok, so nobody is using Studiomux, but somebody's gotta know something about getting plugins to process without latency.

Relax, it had only been 3 hours. It is christmas eve...

Need to know more info really to diagnose. Screenshots, audio interface, settings, etc

Posted this yesterday, actually, so more like 27 hours

Anyway, the interface is M-Audio, and the driver buffer settings are set to the lowest, yet the latency remains at about .25 seconds.

Are there other buffer settings I could adjust? The zero latency thing I recalled was a setting in Reaverb; not seeing anything like that for this one.

By the way, Studiomux pipes audio and midi to and from the ipad. Works perfectly with minimal latency in other DAW's, so I'm guessing there must be a setting that I'm missing in Reaper.

Insert Studiomux as an 'input FX' and record to the same track.

I didn't see that there was a reply before. Sorry!

I don't recall if this is something I tried back then, but I'll give it a shot and let you know.

can't seem to get it to work as an input effect for some reason, but I can get significantly better latency setting the ipad up as an aggregate device in OSX and using it as a track input. Still a noticeable lag, though.

Sorry, but this exhumation has me sitting at my breakfast bar snorting coffee.
First it is SO urgent you are demanding answers in a paniced tone of voice one day after posting on Xmas Eve.... (zzzzzzzz)... almost a year later, you return to this "incredibly urgent" matter.

Seriously, I hope you get it sorted after all this time, but you have to admit it makes amusing reading.

so it seems it still doesn't work on Windows. Pretty useless on OSx because since Apple implemented inter-audio device. So why to buy this?

I don't read his tone as panicked (despite his moniker being Panic), especially the last couple posts. It seems he was just returning to relay what he'd learned.

If you ignore the 2nd post (which is reasonable to do considering it was from 10 months ago), he doesn't come across as being anxious especially in his last 2 posts.

Glad you're amused, Ivan, but where do you guys keep reading urgency in my posts? It was just a query and I figured (xmas eve, or not) someone would know something about effect latency. Anyway, I wasn't, and still am not too concerned about it since it all works fine for me in my primary use DAW.

As far as I can tell, the OSX implementation doesn't do midi, so if you need to send midi clock, or data you need Studiomux, or similar. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

Also, Studiomux works fine on Windows; just not with Reaper, apparently.
