Default EZ Drummer Upgrade and Sounds

To All,
I want to get EZ Drummer2 but heard on another link here (I forgot where) that it would be better to get EZ Drummer, then upgrade for free as you get more kits? Is this true?

Also, EZ Drummer has two kits or ...?

Is there a kit with drum sounds similar to John Bonham Physical Graffiti sounds?

Thanks!

Lots of kits... but why don't you go look at their product page?

Check Out Steven Slate Drums and some others before you buy anything, there are a few options out there and they all do pretty much the same thing.

If the Ezdrummer can still be purchased and is eligible for the free upgrade to Ezdrummer 2, then yeah, you will get the older kits. You'd have to install EzD 1 first, get it all setup then do your upgrade/upgrade the original kits. That's probably from the post I was in where I asked that same questions. When I was told yes, I clicked buy. haha.

I'm already waiting for a Superior Drummer 2.0 crossgrade deal. I'm digging Ezd for it simplicity and it's good when I need something fast, but when mixdown time comes...I need more control for sure.

I think you can still get the buy EZD1 and upgrade to EZD2 here
http://audiodeluxe.com/products/toon...eid=c0c5c67474

I got this deal, and yes, you get the original Pop-rock & cocktail kits from EZD1 and the new modern and vintage kits from EZD2.

I think the EZD2 vintage kit would do Zep sounds but you would need to process them accordingly, there might be a preset but i havent checked out the presets much.

EDIT: I see there is a Levee preset so that should get you started.

Cheers
