Hi,
So the reason the playrate control was missing is that with a side docker set to its minimum size with the media explorer in it, on a 1680x1050 monitor the width is just too small.
If the media explorer is closed and the docker is shrunk by a few pixels the play rate pops up.
Would you be willing to eliminate the second, decorative, loop control button? This would solve the problem at this resolution.

I'm told this quote was applied to Isaac Newton when, during his lifetime, an elegant solution to a long-standing, difficult problem was posted anonymously -- "We recognize the lion by his claw."
I think the same idea applies to White Tie when it comes to interfaces. His style is distinct, and his understanding of design is extraordinary. IMHO, this is a fabulous theme.
Thank you for this, WT.
Cheers.

that is one v. cool theme. i prefer the mcp in 'keys' layout, knobs are nicer.. not that i'm a big knob fan << ooerr.
if i'd change anything it would be transport and the toolbar icons, and maybe add a narrow master track layout. can ligthen it up easy enough if necessary.
hopefully some modder will come up trumps!
it's rather nice with the lights low...
thanks mr T

Amazing indeed!
I wish item background would be less boring or less visible by default...I will probably mode it by myself if I will use this theme as my default, but still... :P
superb work!

Jedstar - you might be able to help me here. I've got custom toolbars that I've put together with another theme, but when I load this theme (or others) it tries to change many of the custom icons for default ones. Is there a way to prevent this or reinstate the old ones? Cheers!
btw - good work on your custom skin, as always.

That's nice, I think the flat items fit really well. How did you accomplish that? I'd like to copy just that. Just delete the item background pngs?
Edit. Got it, just futzing with the media item colors now to get something close.

Check 'preferences' in the 'Theme' section to see what's selected as far as theme behavior, it looks like you're getting some of the old classic theme icons. If you are not sure about the settings... post a screen shot, and we'll try to get you straightened out.

You need to copy your toolbar icons into the theme folder/zip of the theme you want to use.

White Tie, fabulous work as usual, sir! I haven't been around the RPR forums in a while, but peace, love and tranquility to you my friend!
I love the theme in its original form, but I could also use the slightly lighter theme jedstar has modded from this one! So definitely, jedstar . . . please upload your mod! Thank you!!!! :-)

Hi vidalsh you need to start adding rules for reducing this can be very time consuming.
Hears my updated Mod .
Better borders .
Reaper Green TCP . The blue is still in there if you want to change it.
2 new TCP layouts for dyslexic people like me who get confused with lots of information on display.
Enjoy.
And Thanks again the Great White Tie . Please let me know if I should start a new thread instead of polluting this one with my mods.

Thanks Whit Tie this theme is absolutely bloody amazing.
The graphics are stunning it makes all other themes seem pale .
I have a couple of Beta layouts plundered from bernstraw's great gray matter theme.
These are not working well with more than 1 folder indent and I don't know if I'll get round to fixing this. The color strips could be flipped to keep the track id on the left side but I'm now using only layouts "color strip alt" and "color strip alt wav" so I don't think I'll do this.
I will see If I can get the mcp to work better with color apart from that this is about it for this mod .....Enjoy.....
And again all credit and thanks to Mr White Tie and Mr Bernstraw.....

After working with the theme a bit I notice one usability improvement in particular that I find in no other theme: The meters for tracks are indented relative to folder tracks. This makes it easy to check gain staging, it's great. Thanks WT.

Because you have selected a track pan mode which doesn't support width, and the theme doesn't want to show you a dead knob. Right click the pan knob and choose stereo pan and the width knob appears. Choose dual pan and it serves as right channel pan.
