I liked that tension right around 1:20 just before things kicked off to full gear again. Sort of a dramatic moment. As far as the low end, the kick sounds fine, but not feeling much of the bass guitar. Feels like a void there. But sound is so full in general, you almost don't miss it. Some pretty damn classy riffs in this one.

May you never get arthritis in your hands! Motors like an avalanche on speed yet everything clear to the ear. Clever.

I have that on the right thumb, had two shots but the first only lasted 6 months, hoping for longer this time or it's the knife! Don't get me started......

Nice and tight guitars. really needed to show off the great rhythmic stuff you're doing. i'd bump up the lead in the beginning.. around 00:30. 1:41 is wonderful!! very MacAlpine!

i saw your post about low-end. it's not horrible. i've heard much worse. this kind of music requires a gentle hand in that dept, as i'm sure you know. too much and it's a bloated mess of fish guts, too little and it lacks energy. where i was hoping for more energy was the kit. i think a touch more punch would add to the overall power of the piece. they just kinda sit there. not horrible, but i think could be adding more. do you use parallel compression on the kit? with this kind of music i would slam both the kit and bass with some serious ass compression. don't be shy. it'll help to sit better and provide the foundation for your groovin' guitar work.

great guitar tones! care to share what you're using these days?

Nice job! As always!
