Can I safely use my Reaconfig file from v4.78 on v5?
And can we use old themes or should we wait for updated versions?

1. Ripple editing still doesn't affect Tempo Markers when moving items.
2. "Like a version"...I LOL'ed (not a problem, though).

How did you install REAPER 5? As always, over the previous version or in addition to REAPER 4? Double-check the installation folder in the installer (by re-running it, you can abort after checking the folder).

I installed mine over V4 and it picked up everything. It also seems to sound better. I don't know why, but it does.

EDIT: Changed some folder security settings and it seems it was some bs windows permissions crap...so nevermind about all that.

Awesome ... just done a portable install to check all is OK as I am still doing work ...
Seems a little more efficient, and definitely more "analog" hehe!
The "extensions" menu item did not appear until I re-installed my SWS stuff. That is, no empty menu until it's populated!

Well, it installed just fine here a few minutes ago (on OSX 10.10.4). BTW, I was installing it on top of a v5.0 prerelease, not v4.x, but I don't know if that matters.

I hope it's not TOO new...
I have been enjoying v4.78 without issues and I got a lot of previous work done on even older versions, so I just hope there aren't regressions or tons of new bugs with the new features.

Although I have used the beta for several months exclusively, this feels so good to be working with it as a final release!

Not a biggy, but I think 5.0 shouldn't override our current theme (it could've been modified, but not saved). All previous betas/RCs left things as they were...
Also, I thought I needed to give you guys more money, but it seems my license is still good, bonus!

when you say: "per item automation"... does that apply to reatune type of effects as well?
will the pitch correction lines move with the item, or are they still stuck where you put them, even if you moved the item away?
God I would love it if I could just move stuff around and not worry about reapitch, reatune, or any other pitch based effect.
