Default S&M - MIDI Bus Router & Filter UPDATED to v2.0

I see an UPDATE of the S&M - MIDI Bus Router & Filter is v2.0

Curious as to what has changed [improved] over the previous release.

Big Thanks to 'Jeffos' for its' creation. This is a vital plug for things
I need to route within a Reaper track.

What's new ???

Thanks!

Hi Witti ... glad you found it

I've recently tested this new v2 ... pushing it out to handle 16 busses.

Curiously ... it 'feels' like this v2 is not as responsive as the earlier release. I need to go back and A/B some more ... but wonder if anyone else experiences any lag time.

This is a very important 'tool' for my work ... and definitely thank Jeffos for creating it !

This tiny JS plug-in available here: https://stash.reaper.fm/16520/MIDI_Bus_Router_v2.zip

the v1 was posted in a pre-release thread to test things (when Cockos added MIDI busses in REAPER)
the v2 is the one I use, it fixes a bug where the plug was properly remapping busses but not obeying "pass-through", it also adds MIDI bus/channel filtering (just by selecting a source bus and/or a source channel + setting the "Source events" parameter to "Filter" - no remapping)

Something else should be going on in your project RJHollins.. This plug is very basic, it can't lag by design (no buffering, etc..)

Hi Jeffos,

Somehow I missed you posting back on this thread ... my apologies !

I have been re-checking things, and v2 seems to work just fine.

Not sure I completely understand from your description exactly how all the settings interact . But I was easily able to 'match' the v1 settings, and everything worked.

One thing I was testing was the 'Source' selection in the channel assigns. It seems [since I wasn't needing to change channels] that I now have 2 LESS settings to make ... and it seemed to work fine.

Just in case ... might you have a bit more of documentation available on this v2 ??? This is a very important tool for my needs.

Thanks for creating AND sharing it !

Sincerely

Hi TonE,

I use an FX chain of NEBULA's that are controlled via MIDI with my virtual NVC software.

Nebula's MIDI channels are fixed to OMNI mode, so they respond to all 16 MIDI channels. I need to isolate each NEBULA to a single MIDI Channel so that I can control each NEBULA from the single GUI of my NVC controller.

Hi!
Is there a way to add in this great plugin an option to set output channel & bus acting a chosen midi cc event. I mean something like this https://www.orangetreesamples.com/bl...er-multiscript (a multiscript for Kontakt 4+ that allows you to route MIDI input to different MIDI channels based on MIDI CCs)
