Default Items shifting from lane when selecting

When selecting other items, even when all items are deselected, the item you select shifts to a lower lane.

Very anyoing and can ruin your work when not paying attention to it.

Hi,

just so you know you're not being ignored...

Could you provide an example project and / or clear steps how to reproduce this ?
(like 1. do this, 2. do this etc.)

I think I never had this happen so far.

A screencapture showing the problem could help also.

Thanks for the kindness, I see how I can create an animated Gif here from Reaper

It sometimes happens.
But then it happens time after time until you deselect all.
