How to sync two different reaper projects?

I have a template with all my favorite drum loops and I need it that it is in sync with my actual open project to test different drum loops in time. how could I do this?

I on the other hand just learned I can stop other projects by switching to another one. Great for jumping back and forth between subproject tabs. Awesome.
