because this is not only in V5prexx but also in V4xx..
With MIDI-Clock the Song Position Pointer at the start of the project/ruler is missing.........

Can you tell or explain what error handling was fixed?
There is also a bug where the .DAT file won't produce a correct DDP fileset if the filename contains more than 17 characters (including the file extension). See this post for more details.

When it had errors creating DDP files it could crash. I will look at that bug.

Yeah, the filename bug is easy to reproduce.
If the filename itself is more than 13 characters e.g. THISISADDPTEST the result is: THISISADDPTEST.DA
It leaves off the T in the extension.

"Split notes at mouse cursor" is completely broken in MIDI Inline Editor. It does nothing.
I thought it was a conflicting shortcut key, but even running the action from the Actions window causes no splits to occur. Let me know and I can provide a LICEcap.
Split works fine in standard MIDI editor window.

As this animation shows: nobody can read the destination labels - due the strange allignement. Could you please, please please align the routing matrix to the bottom? This bug has been around for years, has been reported multiple times and is just awkward.
For growing podcast community using reaper [1] the routing matrix is quite essential for live-mixing and just brocken in its current form.

Play randomly engaged in midi editor.
I hate to bring this up again but the problem of the transport randomly going into play when clicking on midi notes is still with us in v4.78pre1.
This has been with us at least since v4.6 and starts to get a little old after a while.
Since it happens so randomly I can't put my finger on anything pertinent that might be behind it.
Sometimes it only happens once in a while, sometimes more than that.
Others have confirmed this so I know it's not just me.

2 Actions
Hello I have a suggestion for pre 4.78 about including new actions.
Them would be:
- Move edit cursor to Begin of selected Region
- Move edit cursor to End of selected Region
- Move play cursor to begin of selected Region
- Move play cursor to end of selected Region
And:
- Move edit cursor to Begin of Region under play or edit cursor
- Move edit cursor to End of Region under play or edit cursor
- Move play cursor to begin of Region under play or edit cursor
- Move play cursor to end of Region under play or edit cursor
For me it would be very useful and probably also for a lot of user

There is no such thing as selected region, there is just "current region" (current depends on a time value).
For edit cursor, I'm 100% sure all of these could be done via scripts. (not for play position but you can maybe make custom actions based on scripts - this need to be tested for performance) edit: I find how.
Here is a quick test:
Are you familiar with the concept of ReaScript, or with coding ?
Open a thread in JSFX/ReaScript suforum and you will get help from there.

Scripts (EEL): Move edit cursor (various)
There is 4 scripts, as I have merge the play and edit cursor version. It works on play cursor if play is active, and edit if it is not. Simple
