Default User Defined Colour Pallet in Tool Bar

User Defined Colour Pallet in Tool Bar

You choose a track or item or whatever and then click one of your chosen 8 coloured buttons to change their colour :-)

It would save me loads of time!

I have a custom action set up with:
SWS: Set selected track(s)/items to custom color
SWS: Set selected track(s) children to same color

This custom action is assigned to a toolbar button

I have a button next to it with
SWS: Open color management window

Would be nice if you search the forum a bit first before posting...

There's this:

http://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?t=48049

and a more recent approach (which even I am using these days):

http://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?t=156339

This request of yours is something that REAPER expects the user to do - it won't come loaded with dozens of toolbars. YOU get to choose exactly what you want in the toolbars. That's how it is.

You might struggle on Mac with colors using SWS, SWS is not compatible with el capitans new color picker, just an FYI.

The current state of affairs with EvilDragons first link http://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?t=48049 is that any colour i click turns the track black, so i guess you're right on that one? :-(

I would urge anyone who used my toolbar to start using Airon's color swatch script instead (I have moved on from my own toolbar and use this script too). It's better in so many ways, plus it doesn't need a whole toolbar dedicated to it. You might wanna miss the random color feature, but in all honesty, that's the one I used the least.

EDIT - Sorted it by setting the Custom Colours manually by-eye.
