This one seems useful for the kontakt vst especially, thanks!

I searched that thread but didn't see how it is related to the freeze feature ( http://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?t=172593). The "freeze" word caught my eye because I've been having the same crashes for a long time where I try to freeze a track with Echoboy (it's a FX track, receiving from others). It's always the same, it only happens when I change the channel count on the track. If I just freeze that track I don't get the crash but if I select a bunch of FX tracks for freezing them I always get the same crash on those where I changed the channel count... You know what, I just realized this shouldn't be posted here anyways. I'll start a new thread in the BR forum.

Oops that was a typo, the correct thread was: http://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?t=172637
It will probably fix the issue you describe (receives, and requiring multiple tracks to be frozen in order to trigger it). There was another issue that was also fixed relating to pre-FX envelopes.

Thanks, Justin. The problem posted in that thread does indeed look like the one I've been having. I'll check 5.16pre1 tomorrow.

+ Action window: improved auto-wide layout
Thanks!
I'm seeing a minor bug on OSX though (10.11, retina screen). To repro, just drag the right edge of the Action window right to widen ... slowly ... just before the layout changes there's a little error zone where the layout breaks, as if not all the layout changes occur at exactly the same width.

Nice!
Regarding Action list improvements - it would be great to show the full name of action in a tooltip when hovering above it, if the action name is too long to fit the chosen column width. Ditto for Command ID.
Thanks for tempo map import option

Thanks for pin mappings API, Justin, that was fast! So now I'm able to continue building modular FX Chain!

Cool.

The Blackman and Blackman-Harris windows seem to be swapped (i.e. slider4 lists them as 2=blackman-harris 3=blackman, but @gfx seems to assume 2=blackman 3=blackman-harris).
Also, it would be nice to be able to double-click to reset the settings to their defaults, and to type in exact values (like we could before with the sliders). Although I guess the latter probably would be a lot of work...

+1
-and this might seem silly to some, but would it be possible to copy the action name with the context menu, in the same way as we can copy the Command ID, please? (copying for script comment, documentation and forum use, etc).
Many thanks...

Cool, let me know if you find any problems with it (it hasn't been tested much!).

Problem still exists with OSC

Hey guys, just to clarify, when I bumped this thread it was because I noticed OSC suffering the same problem. AFAIK you guys had already fixed the MIDI part some time ago (I wasn't having any problems with it), but OSC commands still trigger the Alternative Recording Action. Thanks.

Ok. Didn't test with extreme high peaks. Still better than before. I guess I can live with that limitation.
