Sand In Your Crack
I pretty much failed to get the sound and tones I was after.
Regardless of that, it would be cool to get some critique, hear any thoughts before starting over or retracking much of this one.
Thanks

The vocals could be louder or clearer.
The guitars sounds like a wall, you maybe want it that way, but it would be interesting to hear this song with more distinctive guitars. Less fuzz, more bite.

I don't think it sounds so bad except I'm hearing more general low end overall, which actually sounds good, but a touch much.

I agree with all the previous comments. Hopefully, no need to re-track providing the guitars can be EQ'd to give the effect mentioned by msundh above.

No, wasn't going for a "wall", like I said,
"I pretty much failed to get the sound and tones I was after"
I would also like to hear it as you discribe

Hey Sammy, after listening to this again I agree the low end is ass sucking
[QUOTE=aikiboy2k;1848840]It sounds good to me. The song is entertaining and well balanced as far as the mix goes.
Thanks !!
Hope this tune will sound better and be more entertaining if I can arrive at a mix that meets or exceeds how I hear it in my head.

The lows sound more focused on the bass guitar itself now. Just where it should be. Before, it seemed to be a little everywhere.

Better, but I would go further
The vox and solo could be louder.

thanks Sam.
I really need to get some monitors. I gotta believe if I had even entry level monitors instead of home stereo speakers my mixes would improve.
If they didn't improve then I'd know I just suck and could take up a new hobby like, macrame or worm watching.........

Imo too the latest version is best. To me the lows in the bass are good but higher up theres some boominess in it that I would notch down just very slightly, even so it's a better bass sound than the first two versions imo. Could be these bass enhanced h/phones somewhat though. Anyways, cheers, the track rocks.
