Default [IID#3537] FX Parameter Randomize

There is this small button 'Param' with submenus for 'show in track controls', 'show track envelope', 'alias parameter'...

It would be super cool to have one more menu item there: 'Randomize all parameters' which would randomize all parameters for that FX. That would be really, really useful for synth VSTis and sound exploration.

Or "hmmm, what effect I could use for that vocal line? ... bah, I'll just load ReaEQ and hit randomize ".

Inspired by Ugo The Element of Surprise.

What do you guys think?

I would use this daily. I think I made a request for this a while ago as well.

Some VST/VSTi's already have this feature and it's really useful AND fun!

I cannot see that randomizing all parameters in a plugin will produce good sounds, unless you are very patient or lucky or both.

Selecting which parameters to randomize would be more productive, I think.

energyXT v1 had a good scheme:

Well, all the synths that have a randomize function give out great results. It's true that you have to click randomize button several times to get something interesting, but for me, it always yields something positive.

Have a look at Oatmeal or Atlantis (pictured). I always click 'Random All' there.

It's true that EnergyXT has it all worked out there. That would be a dream come true, indeed.

Default FX Parameter Randomize

Hey everyone, has Cockes implemented this functionality? I'm guessing not, since I couldn't find anything about it in Reaper.

Has anyone figured out a way to do it? I would really love this feature, even if it was a blanket randomize.

Interested in this as well, so I voted. Let's hope there's some way to make it work.
