Default [Prog Metal] "Heartbeat"

Here's a collab I did with my friend Simon who programmed the drums. I put guitars and bass on it and then asked over at KVR for lyrics and vocals.
So I found Andy (aka. Codestation) who did a fabulous job!!

I love Tool and you obviously do too.
Singing is great, guitar tone is awesome and it has a great feel.
It even has a 'tool-ish' mix.

...and how much fun is it playing those riffs!

Love it.

More people should collaborate with one another, I think!

Only complaint is during the heavy parts of the track, the vocals feel a bit buried in spots- but I suck at mixing, so I don't really know how much you should listen to me. (=

Thanks a lot for the positive comments!!

I feel the complaint about the chorus vocals. The thing is, that Andy only sent me one track and no doubles or harmonies so I had to widen them artificially. This may have resulted in less total "power" of the vocals...
