Default cutting recording

Hello all, can someone tell me how to cut the end section of recording between finishing playing guitar and physically pushing record stop button there is a second or two of nothing recorded that i want to get rid off.Thanks

You can zoom in on the track then drag the right end to the left til you get to where the sound ends or wherever you want it to end.

Or put your cursor where you want to cut an push the 's' key to split the track. Then delete the part to the right. (I share because you will soon want to split sections of tracks to edit).

Err, nope, that's not true. After you split and delete the .wav file is unchanged. You can get back the original by stretching out the end.
