I don't mean to complain, but it's been a while since 4.0 was released. When can we expect an update?
Woohoo. Way to cross the finish line.

update "what's new" in app.
Under "help" in my OSX PPC version of 4.0 (official release) it still has the "what's new" text file for beta 14.
What will the other DAWs think? We can't let our guard down like this!

i had the same problem, but on windows vista 32 bit. I installed Reaper 4 and started the program after installing it, closed it anr reopened it, now i could see only Reaper4 betaX. I could solve it in the most weird only.
1.install reaper
2.start it after installing it
3.open the task manager
4.open the REAPER.exe folder in the task manager. (an unknown folder)
5.Copy the folder in Program Files/Reaper.
I know it's different for mac, but maybe this can help someone with the same problem

Looking forward to the website changes and the magazine reviews (come on Computer Music, this is front page stuff).
Thank you Cockos - keep up the fantastic work.

Great news.
Where can I update my V2 licence? I can't find it in the payment options.

Thanks Justin, Schwa and Christophe!!!!
I think, from the other posts you get only a small glimpse of how appreciated your work is.
Maybe you'd take a few surely deserved days off now - but not too long!
Thanks also to White Tie and your team for your graphical work!
Also thanks to Nicholas and all the helping hands for your hard work on the documentation.
Great stuff!!!

I don't think the purchase/payment stuff has been updated yet, Stratman, that was my first stop as well (wanted to go get a license immediately). I'm sure they will update that shortly.
Congratulations, Cockos. You guys get a lot of praise lavished on you in this forum and it's entirely deserved, you guys rock!

4.0 isn't officially released yet -- it's just staged in the prerelease area, waiting for its cue.
This is the point where somebody is supposed to point out that it crashes immediately, or whatever.

When I saw the nag screen I just clicked on the link and typed in my credit card number. However, I think you are right, I now have a discounted v3 license instead of a normal v4 license... oops. Oh well, at least I am legally using v4 now.

Congratulation devs!!
Looks like I picked the right time to become a Reaper user. Tested Reaper for the first time (v4 RC) on Sunday, liked it, bought the license Monday and now it is released. Looking forward to dig into it.

If you did a portable install, rewire won't be available.

My bad! In all the excitement I ran the 64 bit version instead of the 32 bit version needed for Reason 5.

3.9.
Just kidding.
Yes, it is. It would probably have an executable size of 450 kB (and do the same).
