Default Action list improvement

I see so many useful actions but i dont have time to explore them all.
It would be nice to remember actions.. lets say by left clicking and "Make it Favorite".

Meanwhile, you may consider use one of the toolbar slot just to 'remember actions'. :P i do it from time to time.

I use it too, but we need more elegant solution.

there are actually a number of ways to do this already.

you could make toolbars. you could customize a menu. you could create a custom action and use the "show in actions menu" option to create a list of favorites. you could create memorable keyboard shortcuts for your most used actions and remember them. you can have a list of recent actions in the action menu, so you can reuse common ones quickly.

I think we all are aware of the already given possibilites to "remember" useful actions but imagine this: in the middle of your work, when you are deep in it, you dial up one action you need now and while searching for it in the list you stumble upon another action which might be of use later but not right now. You want to stay in your flow and don't want to edit toolbars, finding icons, editing a (radial) menu...
just a click to mark it for easy finding later.

Since the SWS extension and the ever growing addition of ReaPack the action list got so many gems which you will never use or find because in the right time when you need it you forgot how it was named or just don't imagine that somebody wrote such a script.

very good idea - some sort of "save to" (which I think of as right-click rather than left-click)

or at least sort action by recent call (need to add dedicated line in reaper-kb.ini I guess)

Default Favorite Actions List History

Yes, please. I just asked about it in this thread:
https://forum.cockos.com/showthread....80#post1961380

REAPER keeps track of used FX.
I would like if it kept track of used Actions too.

But, flagging favorites is much better. Because, you might use some actions to try them out and decide that their function wasn't what you wanted. Being able to sort by favorites is better. Being able to see a list of all used action history would make it a lot easier to find previously used actions that you desire to flag as a favorite!

@FoxAsteria AFAIK, the list of recent actions is session-specific. It doesn't appear to retain after closing REAPER and opening a new session.
