Weird Unfreeze...
Now this is just weird. I did an unfreeze on an acoustic track and it came up with this.
The weird thing is, the track is a single take. You can see the track above did the same thing.

Did it unfreeze successfully? Maybe it thinks it moved or something after the freeze.

the only thing I notice in the gif is that the track does not have the lock ON... could be I just can't really see it cuz the gif is too fast for me...
but normally when a track is frozen, it also becomes locked so that it can't be altered so that it will be pristine if desired to unfreeze.

Well, define successfully? It did, indeed unfreeze. But it ended up being a 3 take track which is NOT what the original track was. I froze a single take track.

It doesn't have the lock on. The problem here is that it unfreezes to a 3 take track, which is not the original track. I don't even use the take system so how it got to that I haven't a clue.

ok but again..... IF you freeze, the item will have the lock on so that NOTHING can be changed on that item. Try it again and see.
IF the lock is NOT on, something has been changed.

Oh, okay, gotcha. Yes, the lock was on prior to performing the unfreeze. I have a habit of unlocking them after I freeze them. Don't know why. OCD?

sometimes I do this:
1-freeze
copy the wav to a new track... it will have the lock on... but I unlock it on the new track...
that leaves the real frozen wav locked and pristine for unfreezing...

I do the same thing when working with MIDI but I still can't figure out why this came out with 3 takes when the original was only 1 mono track. It doesn't do it with any other project so I'm chalking this one up to a bug of some sort.
