I'd really like to be able to normalize items to RMS or LUFS for that matter.
Note: Here I am trying to figure out how to print VST output to volumes envelops... I would be nice to have a more simple solution.
Thanks

Well normalizing to RMS and LUFS require different actions/tools. (You need the SWS extension btw)
Normalizing to peaks dB:
1) Select the items
2) Actions > "Xenakios/SWS: Normalize selected takes to dB value..."
Normalizing to RMS:
1) Select the items
2) Actions > "SWS: RMS analysis/normalise options"
3) Enter the target RMS value in the new little window > OK
4) Actions > "SWS: Normalize item(s) to peak RMS "
Normalizing to LUFS:
1) Select the items/tracks
2) Extensions > Loudness...
3) Select the items > Analyze selected items (or tracks)
4) Right click on the analyzed track/items in the loudness window > Normalize > Choose LUFS > Normalize
