Default end credits

okay, so my last post here went down the page like a lead balloon. Time to employ some marketing tactics, in this case, low effort humor content. I made a bogus movie end credits as a clip for the tune I've also made. (Because stuff I was strumming out kinda felt like an end credits tune)

Contains at least one consciously stolen joke. Apologies for shitness and potential grammar and spelling atrocities.

There's a cheesy drum intro and lots of flubs because it's all single takes. Don't tell my the bass is too loud or whatever, I want to like how it sounds

BTW I retuned my guitar back to E standard with factory-recommended string gauge and I'm delighted how nice the strings feel again. I'm done with experimenting with detuning of a gibsony scale guitar. Imma get myself proper 7 stringer some day for that.

edit: in case you decide to watch it, better click the youtube icon bottom right the embedded video to see the clip in more readable size.

This is really good, zeekat!

I really like that lead guitar tone. I like the playing style a lot as well. Clean and confident picking style. Overall, I enjoyed the tune quite a bit. Gave it a few listens. Lots of tasty licks and the mix sounds pretty great here.

Nice job!

The video is clever too!

Thanks! I'd never expected my picking style being confident or clean, maybe returning to the normal tuning helps a bit. It's cool when strings stay where you press them instead of trying to escape the fretboard area in random directions.

I love this!!!!
Original and great sense of humor.

:-) I just hope no soggy mice in bags were harmed in the making of these credits :-)
I was rolling as soon as I read that one!!!
Thanks.

Oh yeah.... the music is excellent too by the way.

Boomp. I made a short bogus movie opening credits too. I thought putting together some side stick drum beats and string synth would do a decent ol' crime movie soundtrack impression. But now I'm not sure if it doesn't just sound/look like an old porno intro. But I totally tried.

Now I have to do a bogus middle of the movie. Like Steve McQueen in chase of coke smugglers (smuggling coke in pepsi cans). With ambient death polka background.

I wonder how that would work. You're bona fide songwriter, me - I just kinda punch guitar until it starts making acceptable noises then record the effect. Your collabs gathered some scary good folks (playing fretless bass is like "true musician" badge for me, for example), hard to reach that level.

lol... don't under estimate your talent.
You got some really unique arrangements in your tunes. This is no different.
And the playing is spot on. Surely you don't need to spend as much time editing chops as me (unless your also a grid nazi).

Drums and bass are nice and tight. Great mixes overall.
Love the delay/ trem in the second one.

Credits had me giggling like a little girl.... always look forward to what you come up with next
