Default iRig Keys - how to play through Reaper?

Can anyone explain to me how to set up IRIG-Keys through Reaper. I'm a complete novice.
Thanks!

It's supposed to be plug n play, so if that's right you just need to plug a USB cable into your computer and the MIDI input will show up when you start Reaper.

To enable the MIDI input, in Reaper go into the Options menu, then Preferences and click on MIDI Devices. Double click on whatever iRig Keys calls its MIDI input and click the "Enable input from this device" box.

Default Problem enabling iRig Keys: MIDI inputs could not be opened

Hi

In Options > Preferences > MIDI Devices I see "iRig Keys" in the MIDI inputs window, but when I Enable it and click Apply I get a dialog "The following MIDI inputs could not be opened: iRig Keys" (screenshot attached)

Anyone know what's up here?

Thanks

FWIW, I've got an iRig keys working into an iMac running 10.9.5 through a USB hub (which I think the manual suggests one not do).

What of testing your iRig with another DAW? Maybe Ardour or something open source? Or another DAW you already have installed?

Presuming you _bought_ the iRig, one would think you could get support on it.
