I think the faders are perfect.
I prefer not to change them.

Lerian, Check out Knobman http://www.g200kg.com/en/software/knobman.html

I haven't used it myself yet but plan to shortly, I've just been editing other peoples work to suit up to now.

Here's one i did in GIMP by applying a gradient.

It's a Mod of Default Analog i'm working on..... :P

One bug i noticed.

The normal and the default layout in MCP, has some problems with the track folders.
Many times, i switch to TCP and when i go back to MCP the folder icons are missing from the tracks.

Cool, I was wondering how do I tell reaper to use that knob file?

It's really easy Lerian, Just name the knobstack file "mcp_pan_knob_stack" for instance and put it in either the main theme resource folder i.e "Analog_Default_v2dark_beta4_unpacked" or one of the layout folders.

No need to edit the rtconfig.

Then fire it up and see how it looks, You might find that the "mcp_pan_knob_large" and "mcp_pan_knob_small" need to be edited to get the look your after.

At worst it's just a minor tweak in a graphics editor, either a color tweak or clearing everything to make it a transparent layer.

Up until now, I've never unzipped a downloaded theme to find that it came with a "reaper-screensets.ini" file. What am I supposed to do with this? I don't want to wipeout what I've already got for screensets.

Default reaborn reborn! v... DRK Pro :)

This looks awesome, and full of info.

Is there any 'v4 tint' style TCP?
like this?!

or is it simply not possible to have a trendy TCP that colors 'as expected' on set track color?

also, is the selection shade set (or settable) in the theme?

same track color (v4 default theme in reaper v5) with track selected
