Default Strange anomaly w/ Kontakt in Reaper

I am sure there's got to be a fix for this:

How do I get the "save instrument" option box to appear -on top- of everything else on my screen?

Whenever I try to close Kontakt instrument, a box appears offering the option to, "save instrument".
But: this option box is NOT on top of the Kontakt window so, I cannot access the buttons to accept or decline saving the instrument.
And, ..I cannot move/shrink the Kontakt window, to reveal the "save" option box.

Can't access it from the desktop "tray", either.

When I open up Kontakt as a stand-alone, the "Save" option box is on top, as it should be.
So, I figure it's probably a reaper-related fix.
At least, I hope so.

This had never happened before, and I have no idea what could've caused this.
It's maddening!

Can anyone suggest a fix for getting the "save" option box on TOP of everything else on my screen?

Peace,

K8ch

Your Kontakt window has probably been "pinned on top".

The problem of dialog boxes hiding behind pinned windows is an old one:
"Pin on top" conceals pop-up alert windows
pins, windows and dialogs, oh my...

Hi Keith, if you're using Kontakt in Reaper as a VSTi, then you shouldn't be getting any prompt for saving. At least I don't.

It's only when I try to remove an instrument in Kontakt that I get that prompt. Is that what you're trying to do, trying to remove an instrument?

That "Files" icon should be up on top in the menu just like standalone. It is for me.

What version of Kontakt are you using. I'm not sure about K5.6.5, I've got it but I'm still using K5.5 yet.

Hi Tod,

Yes, I meant, when I try to remove an instrument.
Sorry.

Version 5.6.5

Which operating system are you using?

And as juliansader mentioned, is the pin at the top right of the Kontakt plugin window active (pinned down)?

Ah... I think that was the problem.
Sheesh... I should have been able to figure that out.
Thank you!

Yes...!! That was the problem.
Thank you very much. I don't recall having "pinned " it, but I must have.

Appreciate your quick response!
