Default Reaper [4.0b7] item editing... nitpick

Select 2+ items
Double click one (most likely a MIDI item) to be edited

All items are brought up to be edited, but only the one that you double clicked should be edited... especially annoying when you copy 4 MIDI items for a chorus, then proceed to edit one to change things up. It just becomes a MIDI mess!

Then how do you propose one would edit multiple items?

Is that hard to deselect first?

This was actually a late addition in the betas recently on the request of many just goes to show you can't please everyone!

I think there is an option though in the midi section of the preferences to make it behave differently the old way.

If not there then perhaps the mouse modifiers section in prefs.

How about not selecting 2+ items before you double click only 1 item!
