Default Is it possible to remap MIDI notes?

I'm trying to use my Roland drums with Drum Boxx, but I can't find how to set my kick that is note 36 to the kick on the VST that is note 46. I've tried using the "JS: MIDI/midi_CC_mapper" that has controller source/target options but it doesn't actually change anything. This guy is lost...

Hello YantisOm and welcome to these forums. You'll find many helpful people here and a lot of useful information.

Not to worry, we were all lost once.

That JS FX changes MIDI CC message numbers, not MIDI notes. You've got the right idea, but use IXix's KeyMap - you can create you own mapping file (edit the supplied one and save it with a new name) to map any notes to any others.

The files are stored (here?) in Reaper's AppData Data/ix_keymaps folder. Click [Options]and select "Show Reaper resource ..." to get to the containing folder.

For the case you quoted, change
Code:
36 (36) C
    to
46 (36) C

Check the LogicPad layout code in Channel Strip tab,
hope you'll find the answer there - I'm no expert
on OSC, just basic tweaking of my own interface atm.

I can't recall if Keymap II is in the REAPER installer now or not, but here it is anyway:
https://stash.reaper.fm/v/1422/IX%20M...Utils%20II.zip

I recommend using Keymap II instead of Keymap.
