Default reajs + reaper weirdness

If Reaper is installed reajs will not show any JS files from the dropdown. If I uninstall Reaper everything goes back to how it should be.

I'm not sure if this is a bug or my bad understanding, sorry if this is the wrong forum.

REAPER doesn't use ReaJS: ReaJS is an interface that allows JS plug-ins to be accessed within other progs that support VST, like Sonar.

Which program are you using to try to open ReaJS?

I am trying to use reajs from the reaplugs bundle inside AudioMulch on windows 7. If Reaper ISNT installed when I press the "Load" button on reajs in my host the list is populated as it should be but when I install reaper and then go back to my other host and press the "Load" button on reajs the drop down list is EMPTY, then if I uninstall reaper and go back to my host and press the "Load" button on reajs the list is populated again.

I think it's something to do with where ReaJS looks for the JS plug-ins.

In the folder with ReaJS.dll there should be a file REAJS_INFO.txt which tells you how to make a ReaJS.ini file telling it where to find your JS plugs are ... you can find this location in REAPER by going Options, Show REAPER Resource path from REAPER's menu.

If you don't have REAJS_INFO.txt I can email it to you if you PM me your email address.

That's pretty awkward.

Just a hunch but after installing REAPER you could try reinstalling the Reaplugs exe file.

If you don't have this you can grab it here:L

But I give you no promises ....
