Default Item FX window can not be closed

Hi,

I'am on a MacBook Pro 2013, running Mac OS 10.9.5, latest stable Reaper.
Editing some files, putting RX 5 declipping Plugin on certain items. Can't close the growing number of floating FX windows. Is that a bug or a known issue? Is there a workaround for that?
See attached screenshot..

thanks!

I don't know why they can't be closed but you can just put 1 of those on the track fx chain for the same effect (probably).

Thanks for your answer, I was making a break and putting the computer to sleep, after returning to work, all of a sudden, it was possible to close all the floating FX windows, still a little misterious but 'solved'
