Default LAME doesn't work?!!!?!?

I'm seriously going to lose it! I've been trying to figure this out for hours and hours and I can't seem to find ANY version of LAME that works with Reaper!
Please help before my brain explodes!
Yes I have it in the right folder.
Yes it's 64 bit, and should work because it's listed as one of the types I need in the error message.

I was so close to buying Reaper until this happened...but this is just ridiculous. It seems no one can get it to work, I haven't seen one single solved thread on this subject. And all of the links to ones that 'work' are super old.
Does anyone have a link to a LAME that works for 64 bit please????

Let's calm down and take a step back -

Please confirm you have:

64bit OS
64bit Reaper installation

If you have 32 bit Reaper install on 64 bit os (which is perfectly ok), you need 32bit Lame

Is there any specific location I should save this to, so that Reaper can find it? I need to get this done so I can upload a small project to Soundcloud. I'm pretty sure it has to be rendered to MP3. Thanks!

Nope, Soundcloud accepts many formats.

Mine is located in the Reaper folder in Program Files (where the Reaper.exe file is).

Be sure you get the proper 64 or 32 bit version for your system.
