Default Lexicon Native PCM Plugins - Mac

From a support document, a fellow music mixer passed me this info.

Notes for Mac users
We have worked hard to provide the most compatible form of the plugin that we can provide. This is based on the OSX Carbon framework. This should work on any number of applications going back several years, as long as your computer meets the minimum requirements. In the near future, we will also provide these plugins built on the Cocoa framework. These will be available from the Lexicon Website.

You cannot have Carbon and Cocoa versions of the same plugins plugins installed at the same time. If you wish to have Carbon versions of RTAS and Cocoa versions of AudioUnits, that’s perfectly fine—simply use the custom aspect of the installer. They all have exactly the same sound and the same presets. We expect that as time goes by, more and more applications will make use of Cocoa.

If you run the Reaper DAW on Mac, you will need to download the Cocoa version. While the plugins sound fine, you will not be able to enter text if you’re using the Carbon version.
