Default Reaper and dual monitors...

Someone quite recently took a project from one studio, with dual monitors, into a studio with one monitor. And their mixer was assigned to the 2nd monitor, and thus they couldn't find their mixer.

Well, I just got myself a mini-DVI to VGA adaptor, and now have two VDU's. I was contemplating the problem, then quickly realised that you can have two screensets!

So if you have a screenset for two monitors, and one more for a single monitor. You can just switch to the single monitor screenset when you don't have a 2nd monitor, and this will bring your mixer (or indeed whatever you have on the 2nd monitor) back to wherever you have them for the screenset.

Yay.

Heh, that's exactly what I do. I'd read about this happening, seemed the easiest way to avoid it.

OT, I've been using my iMac as a second monitor for about 6 weeks now with MaxiVista, and the demo still hasn't run out.
