Any plans to incorporate a 'Chunks' mode (ala Digital Performer) or 'Song' mode ala Dr. T's OMEGA (Atari ST)? I realize there are groups which is the first stage of this idea - but the next would be to when you create a group, that group is represented by a 'chunk' which in turn can be placed on a new grid layout with it's own tempo map, etc., and in turn other chunks can be placed on it in the timeline.
Again, Digital Performer can be referenced as an example.
There's subprojects, not the same thing but will offer a similar workflow for e.g. to do an album mastering project before the album is even finished being mixed/recorded.
Check out this pic to see the SONG MODE in OMEGA. Each one of those is a sequence. You can place anywhere you want. You can zoom in and place snapped to timing grids or free slide it around. The sequences then take tempo map from the SONG mode's own tempo map.

Bars n Pipes Pro on the Amiga did/does it far better and more elegantly than either The Dr.T`s or D.P.
WHY dont more people wise up to what an amazing way to manipulate audio and MIDI data this is?
