Default Pedals for Alesis Controlpad ?

I would highly appreciate if someone could recommend reasonably priced kick and hat pedals for the Alesis Control Pad.

Im essentially looking for a velocity sensitive kick pedal and a hat pedal that can control close to open hat articulations.

Is this even possible with the Controlpad or can it only handle switches type binary triggers only ?

My current solution is using a mic near my heavy booted foot on a tile floor and triggering using either reagate ( no velocity info ) or the two drum trigger plugins included with Reaper ( velocity ! ).

I had a Roland KD-7 (I think) kick pad that I used with a kick pedal with my Alesis and I liked it, but I ended up selling it before I ever really used it.

My plan was to use it as an alternate kick while playing a real kick, like maybe a really long bass note to start a phrase with.
