Default replicate visible tracks on control surface

Hi all

I'm currently migrating from ableton live to reaper. All going great so far, reaper is dope but there is a slight issue that's bugging me, probably a simple fix (I hope)

I use a tascam us2400 in my studio and at home, a SL mk2. In live when I collapse a group, my control surface mirrors this so that I'm controlling tracks as they appear on screen.
The problem with reaper is that this just doesn't happen, meaning I end up using more faders than I need and worse, hiding tracks, using busses and folders completely messes with my set up.

Is there a way to have my controller mirror what I can see so for example, I can put a pair of overheads in a folder, collapse it and just use one fader instead of three?

Thanks
