Default BassManager (plugin for boosting bass)

Hello,

Sorry for spamming the JS forum with plugins

This.. another one I wrote quickly. It is a plugin for boosting bass frequencies and adding saturation.

I've used Fabio Bizzetti's 2pole filter coefficients for the lowshelf and hipass and one of Bram's waveshapers (not the same as my other filters) for adding saturation. Also there is a muffle switch which basically "muffles" hi frequencies with a supple 1-pole lowpass.

- mono/stereo
- spread switch - controls lowshelf curve
- freq selection - 60hz-200hz
- boost - +24db
- drive - adds saturation (see second diagram)
- "muffle" - suppresses hi-freqs
- output - -24db/+24db
- hipass filter (off/freq)
- limiter - on/off

If a switch is turned off or a control is set to 0 signal is not processed with this "module".

chain is:
lowshelf -> drive -> hp -> lp

Btw if someone has any dry bass guitar samples please post em up. So that I can do some tests..if possible afcourse.

Sounds like something I could use, I'll give it a go.

I tried it out, I had a bass guitar track that was great, I was thinking about adding a little saturation, but I put this on, and the presence was increased. Thanks.

If you have any more js plugs you might want to rename one of your threads like "my plugs" so there aren't that many threads, but I don't think anyone minds.

liteon... Nice work again! Congratulations on this one too... sounds great!
Would you mind on adding a .txt inside the .zip's of your JS's so we can get a description of their features?

I'll make a new thread that will hold all my plugins. There will be a zip file for download that contains all of the stable releases + descriptions for each one. New plugins will be added to the thread as a new post then added to the zip pack.
