Default "Common Plugins" Track

With AIs will come much more/deeper automation. There are certain plugins that Always get used, and always in the same way, and are a huge hassle to have to search/select/touch_parameter/display_lane etc.

Reaper recently added "Copy Plugin With Automation lane", and I thought of a quick dirty way to do what I'm saying above. Works beautifully!
...but...is there any way to force a track to always be displayed? Just like the Master Track, having a Common Plugins track locked on-display would be a godsend no matter the hundreds of tracks in your project.

Just Shift-Drag, and BAM - Waves OneKnob Filter with envelope already armed.

Cubase example: Visibility "Zones" Editor lets you lock tracks LEFT or RIGHT. useful for keeping busses grouped together (or whatever you want).

Could lock the Common Plugins track always-left for example.

PS I know what I proposed above is hackish, taking advantage of "Copy plugin with Automation" in an unintended way. A small toolbar with "quick" draggable plugins (meant to actually do this) would be even better

Have you tried saving the individual plugins as FX chains? I've done it a few times with a stereo EQ that had the bands inverse-linked for complementary EQing, worked fine.

Hi Lokasenna, FX chains don't retain the enabled envelope lanes unfortunately - unless I'm missing something.

Track template? It has an option to save envelope and save items included on tracks.

then just use Insert track from template. or even use SWS resources apply track template to a selected track (there are slots so you can choose which one)
