White Tie, I know I can speak for other forumites when I say; I get giddy like a little kid everytime you post a new theme. Thank you man!

I say this having repeatedly tried to gather some kind of consensus on what people like, and everyone seems to have a different perspective on it, depending on how they use the custom colours and what their expectations are.
Personally, I like to hit all the primary colours at full strength, then have some variations just off primary red, green and blue. But that's because I do things like make drums red, so percussion is orange. Some drum machine support drums are therefore red, but a bit different ...so I have a colour to hand for that. I tend not to use much light/dark variation whatsoever, but I know some users love doing the light = important, dark = background stuff thing ...we're never going to agree on this in a way that can then be plumbed into a general release theme, I feel.

Thanks for the thoughtful reply, and the new faders. Sticking with the tick (apparently I am a stickler for a tickler) for the time being…
That’s great advice that makes a lot of sense. Basically I’ll be inviting L. Roy Geebie Hubbard IV over for an evening of Twister and the Rainbow Connection to get two shades of each. I’ll also engage in some sneaky eyedropper subterfuge, to work around the colours already present here and there.
Exciting times in Reaperland!

Reaper won't convert to WT Blend?
Hi all,
I am trying to load the WT Blend theme into Reaper (3.12). I downloaded it, extracted the files and through Reaper did the following:
Preferences ---> Theme ---> Load Theme ---> Browse ---> Blend.Reaper Theme
It doesn't convert to the WT Blend screen shots I see in the forum? It gets gray but all of the icons, buttons, etc. are from the "Classic" theme.
It happened both to my laptop and desktop.
What should I be doing? btw, excellent theme!!!
Thanks

Dude, that's not how to do it. You gotta stick them in the "themes" folder. If your on a MAC then that'll be found in Application Support. If you're in Windows, it'll be found in...uh, [error code 17358: user does not own PC]

Thanks Kunda for the guidance. I'm stumped.
I have the WT Blend folder in the following Windows XP directory:
C:\Reaper\Color Themes
This is where the Default and Default 3.0 Themes are as well (which I can access).
I can't figure it out?

I really love this theme but there's one small disturbing thing: when I solo a track there's a writing like "NOT SOLOED" or so on all other tracks partially inside the meter bar. In my opinion that's nonsense (and ugly) because the lit button already indicates which tracks are set to solo and which are not soloed.
Besides of that this is the best theme I've ever seen.

This happens on all themes since it is Reaper who writes those words.

FYI, there is an option in REAPER's Preferences to disable this default behavior. Personally, I found it unnecessary and distracting and have it disabled.

I know, but that doesn't take away the 'not soloed' and 'muted' text.. And I would really like to get rid of that '-inf'.

This theme has become quite the workhorse for me - awesome!
The toolbar however isn't as clear for me when it comes to the custom ones.
Would you, mr.Tie, maybe provide the same batch but with the blue for pressed instead of grayer?
And while I'm giving orders, would you mind adding the cup of tea for the toolbar too?

I quite liked this theme, but only after I installed the alts I nearly wet myself. Amazing stuff!
I think I'm sticking with this theme until the guys at Cockos have a new default with Reaper 4(?).
Or they might just adopt this one

New item property images have been added in Reaper 3.13, extract these buttons into the appropriate image folder of the theme :

Ah! the annoying 'using the downstate of buttons to mean on'. While other buttons have a separate image. Gnngh. Well, I suppose it means half as many images in the theme zip. Anyway, YES here they are:
Custom toolbar images with blue 'mousedown' states : DOWNLOAD

I'm slightly sick of toolbar buttons at the moment (as anyone who has done them will sympathise) but I'll certainly do this later - tea is an important part of any session Please bug me if I forget!

Haha! You is the man! This is really the theme for me, certainly on par with def.2 and def.3. Really appreciate you revisiting this theme just to please your fans! Thank you!

After spending some time working with the theme, it's safe to say that this is fine work once again.
And if it's so easy to do, what took you so long ?
Thanks.

Splash Screen?
Hi White Tie,
I am really enjoying using these themes (especially the dark one). Is there any chance you could make some splash screens that would go with them?
Thanks again for making these. I kinda feel bad for liking them so much though, since I know you found them so creatively boring to make

This a lovely theme, thank you Mr Tie
I like the whole them, but my preference for dark side led me to mash it a bit more still - but only really the arrange window and panel backgrounds - everything else is perfect.
If you had done an even darker version I wouldn't felt the urge to mash it at all
Hats off to the most benevolent Mr WT

He does it again!!! Daaaaaaaaaaamn a BEAUTY!!!
Simply Hands down WT!
Amazing work every time and every time you go the xtra mile. Good work WT. Quick question, I noticed something, when I installed this THEME all works well only problem is that my audio Wave audio track "shape" doesn't look like in your screenshots. Remember that since version 2.0 of Reaper the Wave shape had that if I can say Logic shape kind of round in the edges but after loading this great them my wave file shape is like old version of Reaper. Is there any where in the Options I have to go and apply something?
Thanx again!!
Amaaaaaaaaaaaaaazing!!

The degree of curvy-ness on the item backgrounds is a theme thing, defined in the item_bg images - so it can be pretty much any size. The caveat is that the bigger the rounded corners, the more obvious it will be that the custom colours don't curve with it. For this theme, since I was all about the custom colouring, I made the corners almost square. But it doesn't have to be that way, here's some curvy fellas:
Just swap them into the theme's image folder.
