Advanced rendering (toggle between MIDI and Audio with auto FX switch)

Step 1.

Create new Custom Action

Take: Crop to active take in items
SWS/S&M: Unbypass all FX for selected tracks
Go to end of time selection
Item edit: Trim right edge of item to edit cursor
Item: Apply track/take FX to items
SWS/S&M: Bypass all FX for selected tracks

After activate this macro we'll have new take with audio item and all FX switched OFF

Optional : Uncheck Show All takes in lanes (when room).

Step 2.

Create new Cycle Action

Take: Set 1st take active
SWS/S&M: Unbypass all FX for selected track(s)
(!)Step -----
Take: Set 2nd take active
SWS/S&M: Bypass all FX for selected track(s)

Assign it to custom key

Now we can switch between MIDI and Audio and toggle FX on/off. Useful for people with slow CPU. You can easily render items, then switch back to midi to make some changes and render again.

Hide sources (like in Studio 1)

Create custom action:
SWS: Save current track selection
SWS: Select tracks with active routing to selected track(s)
SWS: Toggle selected track(s) visible in MCP
SWS: Restore saved track selection
SWS: Show selected track(s) in MCP

Now you can hide source tracks for busses

Render selected items to new audio on a track

Step 1.
Go to Extensions -> Cue Buss generator : Uncheck "Show buss routing и Solo defeat". Check "Master/parent"

Step 2.
Create custom action:
SWS: Save selected item(s)
SWS: Select only track(s) with selected item(s)
Time selection: Set time selection to items
Item properties: Solo
SWS/S&M: Create cue buss from track selection, settings 01
Track: Render selected area of tracks to stereo stem tracks (and mute original)
SWS: Restore saved selected item(s)
Item properties: Unsolo
Xenakios/SWS: Select next tracks
Track: Remove tracks

Now select desired items and activate macro

Insert a copy of previous item

Assign to a key or mouse click

Track: Select track under mouse cursor
View: Move edit cursor to mouse cursor
Xenakios/SWS: Store edit cursor position
Item navigation: Select and move to previous item
Edit: Copy items
Xenakios/SWS: Recall edit cursor position
Item: Paste items/tracks
Item navigation: Move cursor left to edge of item

Pack folder selected tracks and create first empty track (like in Ableton Live)

SWS : Save Current Track Selection
SWS : Insert track above selected tracks
SWS : Restore saved track selection

Copy item to new track

Edit: Copy items
Go to start of time selection
Track: Duplicate tracks
Item: Select all items in track

Track: Go to next track

Duplicate time (like in Ableton Live)

Item: Select all items in current time selection
Item: Split items at time selections
Options: Ripple editing: All tracks
Item: Duplicate selected area of items
Option: Ripple editing: Off

Convert selected MIDI item FX1 to Audio (Bounce VST Instrument and preserve next FXs)

SWS/S&M : Bypass FX 2 for selected tracks
SWS/S&M : Bypass FX 3 for selected tracks
SWS/S&M : Bypass FX 4 for selected tracks
SWS/S&M : Bypass FX 5 for selected tracks
SWS/S&M : Bypass FX 6 for selected tracks
SWS/S&M : Bypass FX 7 for selected tracks
