Hi there,

I set up a little FX chain and a track template to use with 4x4 (drum) pad controllers (or as a standalone drum sampler).
The chain contains 16 instances of ReaSamplomatic5000, each set up to be triggered by a specific note.
The note values are set to the defaults of the Korg PadKontrol, but can of course be easily changed to other values.
To layer drums, just duplicate a Pad instance.
To use mute groups, activate and set up (and in case you need more than one, duplicate) the first plugin in the chain. Please be aware that the midi_mute_groups JS FX plugin has to be installed beforehand. Download and usage information can be found here.

The track template sets up a full multi-channel routing of the ReaPads FX Chain.
It will create the following 18 tracks:
1 track holding the MIDI data (with ReaPads as FX chain; only shown in TCP)
1 folder track containing (only shown in MCP)
16 children stereo tracks (one for each pad; only shown in MCP)

Very nice layout. Similar to the more popular ReaDrums template. Only I like your idea better with hiding the the Folder children from the TCP.
