REQ: Reset stretch markers value
Hey guys,
Much to my surprise, there doesn't seem to be an action to reset stretch markers.
Say I spend some time inserted a bunch of SMs, then I move them around and decide I want to start again. I can't see a way to reset their values to x1.00 without removing them and starting again.
Does someone have a script for this?
Cheers!
Dax.

Long time requested.
Then there is the choice to reset stretch-marker to original position, or to equal stretch on both sides (as remove).

Wow, very surprised to hear that.
Thanks for the heads-up, G-Sun.
Hopefully a scripter has a clever solution for this.

thanks guys ^^
@Sexan
It is possible but a special case need to be take into account : if initial marker position would be behind or after another strech marker (we can't change marker order), so I porpose :
Reset if you can, do nothing if you can't.
Ok for ya ?

Ahh! You have 'strech' instead of 'stretch' (Anglaise est stupide)

@dax
Oups, thanks for the Typo !
@Sexan
I made a script anyway :
- X-Raym_Reset stretch marker under mouse position.lua
I suceed to determine where if fails : it fails if take rate is not 1. I have reported that on SWS bug tracker.
But for take with rate = 1... it works great :P
I make it move strech cursor under mouse to previous / next strech marker position if source position is not avaible. (may change that in the future for the "don't move" which was in fact harder to code :P)

Isn't it easy enough to just delete and recreate a single SM?

Thanks a lot!
This wasn't working well last time I tried. Looking forward to give it another spin.

Hey, thanks a ton for this script! I just realized it existed!
Now, it doesn't seem to work with vertical adjustments to the SM's. Like, I see if you move a marker horizontally so both sides of the SM are changed, this scrip resets that. But if you only move a SM vertically so that the length of only the section you are moving changes, this doesn't reset that. Am I doing something wrong here? Thanks and cheers!

@EManBass
Glad it's helpful !
ST became really complex with the introduction of slope., after the release of the script.
Can you post a screenshot or GIF so I can see better was is wrong ?
Note sure I can fix it, but I can take a look.

I miss a working script for this as well.
Understanding the slope-issue.
I can't find any use for slope, and see lots of drawbacks from introducing it.

Reset Slopes
1-Is there a way to reset ALL slopes on ALL stretch markers on selected items so they are straight again?
2-Is there a way to disable Slopes in stretch marker editing? I don't se a use and I may inadvertedly change it and not see it.

Yes, me too. I never use the slopes, can't see any time I would want to and they definitely slow down workflow.
