Default So what happens after 30 days?

Does the program stop working? Ive had it now for 28 days and just got into using it more than Adobe Audition or Sonar. I could easily see myself paying the $60 to support a good piece of software.

So what happens? Do some features go away or do they just keep reminding you to buy it?

Thanks all ~ and Thanks to the Reaper Team

no features go away, you just get nagged for 5 seconds on startup ... it is technically against the agreement(?) to go over 30 days, but if there is something wrong (after fixes were forthcoming), ive seen people ask to demo it again to try it out, and there's never been a problem with that.

have you run into any issues? Just post em here at the forum! Im sure if fixes come you are free to demo it again.

welcome to the forum!

The program will not be disabled or crippled in any way ... but if you continue to use it after 30 days you are required to purchase a license or you will get bad karma and may be turned into a frog.

*Ribbit*....

Yeah, I just started taking a liking to it and noticed how much easier it deals with DX effects than Adobe Audition. You need you like download a separate DX manager for Audtion is what Im gathering. VST's of course work but, I had a list of DX effects a mile long instantly with Reaper.

Not the biggest thing, but adds to the overall ease of things.

Thanks for the quick answers guys.

Hey, is there a spot in the forum here for people to post their mixes/songs done with Reaper? Ive got a few to put up there.

See ya around here

Buy it!!!

When you see those words "licensed for non-commercial use"
It makes you feel so warm and fuzzy you write like never before and your mixes become incredible.....The Karma is just sooooo good.

I was feeling guilty because it only costs 60 bucks! (but I got over that)

This forum alone is worth $60. Repear is worth a lot more than that!

Welcome to the forum!

Hey did I just see a cricket get turned into a frog here even before his 30 days were up?

I confess I used REAPER for a few day after such time and I was hoping develop more of croaky voice. Unfortunately my plan didn't work out and I noticed I was starting to resemble a tadpole!

Maybe not licensing and smoking cigars would have helped.

Awesome!

Im going to doctor up a track or two in Reaper and will post it in that spot soon.

Thanks guys.

I really like the comment about the forum alone being worth the $60 = theres nothing better than an active forum.

I work with Reason 4.0 and that forum is.....the Sahara of the internet. So, im glad to be here.

Hope you guys like Reggae

I don't mean to scare anyone but I used Reaper for 31 days without paying and my left testicle fell off. It could be coincidental to a chain saw mishap around the same time.

Or not...

$60 ... testicle... choose....
