Default Cancelling Solo Functionality

Not sure if Reaper does this but its pretty handy in PT - whereby selecting a tracks solo button cancels any other tracks previously in solo mode.

I'm not too versed in PT, but REAPER does have exclusive solo. You can access it by right-clicking the solo button or by ctrl+alt+clicking it.

I would also suggest filtering solo in the actions window (?) for solo related keyboard options.

CTRL+ALT+click on solo button does that.

You could do a macro to map it to a key:
- unsolo all tracks
- solo/unsolo selected track

But than you won't be able to unsolo it
