Adjust individual WAV volume???

Scenario: I just recorded the 3 verses for a song. The middle verse seems to be louder. Normalizing the whole wav doesn't work.

Question: If I split the wav, into verses, is there a way to adjust the volume of each individually split wav or should I transfer the loudest section to a new track and adjust the volume from there?

Split into multiple wav clips. Hover your cursor at the top of the clip wyou want to turn down. Left click and pull down. The gain reduction will display as a number with a horizontal line across the clip.
