Default mixer not docking

when i go to dock my mixer, it sort of docks, meaning it attaches to other dockable windows such as transport or whatever it's called or the performance meter, but these things although become switchable tab style, are still together in their own window separate from the rest of reaper.

i'm not sure really why this is, and i can't figure out how to get them to go back together.

really though, what i'd like to do is get my mixer to go full screen when i open it, but i think that might a little optimistic.

You can click on the little ! (left corner of docker window) Attach docker to main window.

If you want mixer to go full screen, detach from docker, then double click on title bar.

thanks, I also found that if i clicked somewhere in some empty space on bottom of floating window that same option came up.

the clicking on title bar to maximize the screen is cool, but what i was really hoping for would be some way i could go straight to full screen by using my shortcut key.

it seems to remember where I placed my window last time it was open, but for some reason there is a limit on size that it remembers.

maybe there's a macro function i could use for this? idk.

i think right now the best i can do is leave it docked and make it as large as it can go, because it remembers to go large if it's docked in main window.

actually, you know what? i can't find that !. i'm in a custom theme, and i think last time when i found that empty space may have been a glitch i had, long story short, i'm stuck again.

You should be able to bring up the menu by right clicking over the empty space immediately right of the last tab ... or

Display Actions list (main menu) find View:Attach/Unattach Docker to/from Main Window and assign a keystroke to it.

nevermind. dock mixer in docker, then in docker the ! becomes available, and that's where you can dock docker to main window.

the keystroke i meant was to go from being full screen tracks view, to hitting a key and going directly to full screen mixer.

i don't think this is possible yet though. so i'll keep it docked in main window for now i think. idk. having two rows of channels stacked is pretty slick, but without the quick access of just one button for the full screen, and the nice snappiness of it. cleanliness where i won't move the mixer over so next time i open it it's half off the screen or whatever.

It would be slick to go full screen dual rows, but i think the next best thing is docked as big as it will go, and that's it.
