hey, youn.
is it just my monitor, or is that WAY dark? I ask because i'm struggling with getting my themes to look right. That's gotta be the more frustrating part about working with themes; ya get it looking good on one monitor, and it's too light/dark/pale/bright on another.
About as bad as mixing for a boombox.
Love the buttons, btw.

Impressive, Youn, for the originality of your approach. And it looks really nice as well, dark but very gentle & playful

well, I just updated the icon set, better transport (imo) and blue mono buttons, also fixed a pixel here and there and redrew alot of shadows, small stuff...
maybe another update soon with non-text buttons for file i/o
thanks for the comments so far....
pipe, I'm not sure what to do with your theme, maybe the lack of inspiration is due to my not ever using neve gear? sad, I know...
teej: I'm sorry it's too dark, welcome to API land

hey, nice changes. the buttons are nice n clean!
Please don't take offense, Youn. I was trying to calibrate my monitors (CRTs) so i could be sure i was seeing what most people are seeing. Seemed every PC i viewed my themes on, they looked totally different; sometimes way too light, sometimes way too dark.
So i wasn't complaining about your theme, i was really trying to find out if it appeared as dark to you as it did to me.
I've just replaced my CRTs with 2 new 19" LCDs, and i'm going thru the calibration process again. sheesh, it's a pain!

hey, no prob! I've had lots of the same issues in my life, believe me
take a look at this (if someone knows a better more thorough website, please chime in)
http://epaperpress.com/monitorcal/
I hope this helps, if you have adobe products it comes with a good calibration wizard

that was very helpful! i see that my attempts to calibrate using the nVidia wizard weren't too good. I've now got these 2 LCDs looking similar to each other and (within reason) calibrated correctly.
sheesh.. now my themes are really light. haha.. guess what i'll be doing tonight?
