Default :: REACTION :: (v4 Theme)

Hi folks,
Here we are!
Reaction v1.00 is finished.
A lot of things have been reworked, the code has been been clarified (I hope),
There are some new layouts, icons...
Everything is explain in an awful English into an illustrated PDF.
Sorry if I've not replied since few months, I was busy with some less funny things.

BTW I've done a small WordPress to showcase my Themes and others things I'm working on.

>> Silent's Depository <<

All alpha/beta release of the forthcoming themes, will be restrained to this site then once finished, they will be uploaded on the stash and, of course, announced on the Cockos forum.

So, stay tuned, do not hesitate to post your comments/requests on the blog, All your posts should be redirected to my mobile (if that works), so no more "why silent is so silent "...etc

Enjoy.

REACTION v1.00

Nicely done

i know this is redundant and awfully thoughtless of me to say but...

got a darker version in the works too?

I only ask this on the themes I absolutely love

now that the thoughtless crap is out of the way, nice work, and wow. I simply can't wait to fire this up!

I think the track number color should get changed when it's supercollapsed.

i assume there is no:

"set.tcp.idx ?parent [r.g.b]"

type thing correct?

Yes a big +1

I often render into the folder track and mute it but it would be far better to have this constantly updated.
Also it would allows you to cut and move items within a folder as if they are grouped together.
This allows you to rearrange entire compositions by simply placing them in a folder and editing the overview.

You can have a look at the macros at the bottom of my avatar for some long winded work arounds. But yes please proper "folder overviews"

This should be the default v. 4 theme. Seriously.

That's one of the most tasteful UI designs I've ever seen. Awesome work silent, I'm looking forward to using this when 4 comes out.

I do not really understand you, as far as "supercollapsed tracks" are 0 pixel height they're invisible. you probably mean "collapsed tracks".

So I'm totaly agree with you, that would be great to have a tcp_idxbg_collapsed.png

If you mean folders then we nearly have the ability (via the way PIPs work) to have folders like cubendo where you can actually see the content inside (with waveforms too). Just need some dev love on it!

oh I'm sorry. I meant the parent of the supercollapsed tracks.

like so:

[parent (different color track number)]
[child (invisible)]
[child (invisible)]
[child (invisible)]

I think we DO have idx.color - that's why it changes to red in the default scheme when you hit "arm"

or MAYBE the folder icon could change so you could make it a vivid color if there are child tracks.

B.t.w.:may I be so cheeky as to already make a little request?

I would love if there was a dedicated TCP layout for group/bus tracks.
