Show 'Effective BPM' when adjusting Playrate
I would like to see the effective bpm displayed as I adjust the project's playrate. If not directly in the transport, then at least in the tool tip. Wld be very useful.

+1 indeed would make a lot of sense
I upped the playrate recently on something as a test to see if a tempo increase would help and the artist asked 'how fast is that now' - and i was like "uh....umm. nevermind."
so if just to avoid embarassment yes please.

Ideally it would be incorporated directly into the playrate display (I suggested in the tooltip if that was maybe a little easier to get done... or maybe less theme-dependent...?)
Anyone reading this probably knows this already, but just FYI, it's possible to 'Apply playrate to current BPM' by right clicking the playrate slider (or by directly running the associated action), which will show you the new bpm, which can then be undone if you don't want to keep it.
Or... you can use a plugin that syncs to Reaper and get the realtime bpm that way!

Voted yes.
Also, had an idea on how to show the effective BPM;
When Playrate is changed, effective BPM should be shown in the current BPM indicator, but should be flashing.
Cheers for the good idea, MarahMag!
Dax.

+1 for this.
If possible, I'd like to be able to view both the original BPM, as well as the effective one due to playrate.
