View Full Version : Let's Share Our Gear/Synths/Libraries!

Basically it goes like this:

1. Someone post their MIDI or audio part(s) and describe the desired gear, synths or libraries they want them processed through.

2. Someone else lucky enough to own these runs the parts through it, then posts the resulting file back here.

3. World Peace!

Would anyone be up for this kind of collaboration?

For example, I have this piano part I layed down using my crappy piano patch on my crappy Roland synth. Hey, it's all I got! I'd LOVE to get a version using one of the newer piano libraries, but don't want to purchase it just for this one track. Does anyone have something nicer like Ivory, EastWest Pianos, or Garritan Steinwey? I'm looking for a darker, closer sound. Actually an Upright piano would be best. Again, I' mnot looking for you to play the part, just load the MIDI files and the VSTi then hit "render" and post the results.

Also applies to hardware synths and other outboard gear (like an expensive compressor or EQ)... I'd love to get the real deal sometimes but am stuck with emulators.
